About Us

                 

From the dirt to the discs, Aux Arc is a husband and wife team of artisan miners and jewelers specializing in rough and finished North American gemstones and artisan jewelry.

We travel from our home in the Ozarks to the gemstone mines of North America digging, panning, sluicing, sifting, and breaking boulders, searching for nature's treasures with our own hands.

Every Aux Arc faceted gemstone is cut by our gem cutter, Joseph. Cabochons are cut and polished by Cynthia. We do not use any outside cutting services, all of our stones are cut in house.Our Artisan jewelry is created from scratch by both Cynthia and Joseph.

All of our North American Gemstones are completely natural with no treatment, with the exception of Helenite, a synthetic made with the ashes from the historic eruption of Mount St. Helens in 1980. 

International gemstones are also cut in house, however having not mined them personally we cannot verify any treatment that may have been used on the stones or their locality of origin.
